Product Quality Manager – Far East 12-24-2011
1. Location
a) Position will reside in China (either Dong Guan or Jaishan); report to the senior manager at that location (either Dong Guan or Jaishan).

2. Job Description:
a) Manage product development, procedures and specifications
b). Working with the inspection teams to answer any open/uncertain questions related to product specifications or procedures on behalf of US marketing team.
c) Position is to support US marketing team by handling approval from Original Design sample approval through Pre-production sample approval, working hand in hand with US product team.
d). Position will require travel domestically within China and also to Vietnam.
e). Strong engineering experience and furniture experience required.
f). Candidate must speak and write English and Mandarin.
3. Job Responsibilities:
a) Sample Development Stage:
1) Original Design Engineering: Receive, file and review with factory engineering staff, all design details from US marketing team. Develop and maintain product descriptions and related files.
2) Fabric, hardware, color panel, reference sample approval.
3) Proto sample review and approval (work side by side inspection teams to answer any open questions).
4) Sample Review and approval.
5) Final Pack, Customer Specs, Graphics Work Order Review and approval.
b) Production Stage:
1). Pre-production review and approval.
2). Photography proof approval.
3). Test Sample (labels, artwork, production) approval.
4). Color case (MCC) approval.
5). Production color panel approval.
6). Swatch approval. (Such as Hardware/leather/fabric).
7). White wood review and approval; work with inspection teams to resolve open/uncertain issues;
8). Finish Goods review and approval; work with inspection teams to resolve open/uncertain issues.
c) Follow other job assignment from the senior management
d) Update Specification and Procedures
