JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Directly report to plant finance manager and dotted line to IT infrastructure team leader and provide support to all plant users.
2. The candidate will need to understand how each system interacts with the enterprise infrastructure
3. Responsible for the operating system and associated subsystems.
4. Provide technical-first level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems.
5. Identify alternatives for optimizing computer resources.
6. Investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
7. Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.
8. Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade hardware and software with the operating system.
9. Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
10. Write and maintain system documentation
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Minimum:
1. University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
2. Minimum 2 years professional level experience with progressive responsibilities
3. A strong track record in successfully leading/completing Service Center implementations
4. Experience with all phases of applications life cycle including analysis, design, programming, testing, installation, and maintenance. Such as Service desk, Windows 7, Exchange 2010, (including AD administration)
5. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
6. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skill
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks independently
8. Good command of written and spoken English
9. Candidates must be knowledgeable of IT Service Management processes and preferably ITIL Foundation Certified
Preferred:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
2. Software development experience
3. PBX experience
4. Experience in developing Use Cases and Service desk Process.
5. Experience in comfortable troubleshooting, configuring and manufacturing Service desk products
6. ERP implementation experience
7. Candidate must have a solid understanding of the following Modules/Applications:
Service Desk experience
I ITIL Foundation Certified
