REQUIREMENTS:
a.Minimum of 5 years Quality Management Experience in the Furniture Industry.
b.Experience to manage 20+ employees a must.
c.Good command of oral English a must.
d.Good command of oral Mandarin a must.
e.Good command of written English a must.
f.Good command of written Mandarin preferred.
g.Ability to read CAD engineering drawings a must.
h.Ability to utilize CAD software preferred.
i.Ability to utilize computer software such as Excel, Word, E-mail, etc. a must.
j.Willing to work long hours a must.
k.Willing to travel a must.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
a.Assume full responsibility in the region for Quality ensuring corporate objectives is met
b.To define and establish strategic objectives for the on-going improvement of product quality.
c.To manage and support all Quality Section staff and their duties.
d.To maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe, socure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
e.To accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations and monitoring job results. Disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
f.To maintain the fair treatment and healthy relationship between suppliers and staff.
g.To coordinate all necessary approvals required throughout the Management Process.
h.To maintain harmony and bridge work efforts between the Quality Team and other company Departments.
i.To maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
j.Set up SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) where necessary and seek improvements in quality assurance and control, testing standards, color evaluation, and audit/certification
k.Monitor performance of vendors, suppliers ranking them according to their strength and weakness and maintain a list of preferred vendors.
