Purpose:

The CAD Technician is responsible for taking designs/drawings of furniture items drawn on paper and turning them into electronic images on a computer
绘图员负责将设计师的设计图/手绘图转化为电子图档

The CAD Technician is responsible of creating the patterns to be used in production
绘图员负责做样品模板和生产图纸


Key Accountabilities:

Create drawings in both 2 and 3-dimensional form from designs drawn on paper / Design frameworks for a project respecting the deadlines of the project
在设计项目的计划完成时间内，负责将手绘图/设计图转化为二维和三维电脑图纸
Work with sample makers and production team to develop, manufacture a product.
同打样师傅和生产车间团队 合作开发， 制作样品
Analyse, design and build business/technical solutions that deliver the client’s goal.
按照客户的要求，提供出样品分析和技术解决方案
Create detailed design documentation.
建立详细的产品设计资料和生产图纸
Estimate time and costs required to complete project.
预估开发样品的时间和成本需求
Aid in the selection of materials for the products.
参与提供产品所需材料的选择及鉴定
Produce and maintain accurate the final design specifications.
制作和更新最终确认产品的设计及生产规范要求
Code and test software.
编码和测试软件
Define, create and maintain development methodologies, procedures and standards.
定义，设计和更新所开发产品的方法，程序和标准

Critical Skills:

English reading (speaking is an asset)

IT Skills:
Autocad 10 or above
熟练操作Autocad 10 或者以上版本
Solidworks
熟练操作Solidworks
Office Suite
熟练操作Office Suite 办公软件
Fabric pattern cutting machine will be a plus
会使用电剪机裁布 （优先录取）。

Essential: Minimum of 3 years professional experience in a similar position in a furniture factory

Desirable: Education - Bachelor’s degree
