Responsibilities
-This role will work with manufacturers to investigate and resolve finish problems. This role will also monitor the manufacturer's finish processes and recommend changes that will enable them to meet our finish specifications.
-Perform audits of color masters from manufacturing units to assure consistency of color.
-Develop work instructions, operation sheets, and quality standards for critical processes and process control points.
-Conduct routine audits to ensure conformance to documented practices, and standard operating procedures.
-Provide support in the areas of trouble shooting, training, checking, and approving surface materials as requested.
-Analyze the application of new technologies that simplify, improve, and expedite the finish process.
-Monitor preventive maintenance procedures and schedules of finish equipment.
-Administer color hue testing to required personnel.

Requirements
-college in chemistry, chemical engineering, science, or mathematics
-At least 6 years working experience in furniture field and process control knowledge
-Work experience in wood and metal finishing processes.
-Strong team working spirits
-Open to flexible working hours and travel
